I wonder what this whoooooole "Leave it to her" thing is anyway?? Ever noticed that when YOU use the tub/shower, you carefully wipe the thing dry-ish - even scrub a bit if it looks like it wants it - carefully hang up the bathmat when finished - screw the tops on shampoo, conditioner, etc. -blah, blah, blah - but...males - of any age !! - will just...leave it as it was!! Soap scum,'topless' bottles of this and that, "short n' curlies" on the bottom of the tub, soaking wet /scrunched up and abandoned aaaaand ...never-ever-hung-up-to-dry bathmat, blah, blah, blah. As for dinner, has anyone else reached the strange/frustrating place I've recently reached?? ie. I can no longer think of whaaaaaat on earth to have for dinner!! After 30+ years of dreaming up dinners...I'm stuck!!

Beautiful Connie- next time that happens - phone out for delivery!! Something...exotic that youuuuuu esp./only love!! Or, be thoughtful if you must and order Chinese or pizza, but...P-h-o-n-e out!!

As for you, Linda - house up for sale??!! Eeek!! Whaaaaaat a nightmare such things have always been for moi what with my being a maaaaajor slob and not giving a fig about dust, clutter, etc.,etc., until...that "For Sale" sign goes up!! How 'bout trying something t-i-n-y - a wee card - a wee quilt - some funny/dear bit of embroidery that keeps your hands busy/mind free to wander - When I had to spend about 10 days on a ferry once - not a cruise ship, a...ferry!! read: nothing to do but watch the scenery - I made sure I had a bit of fabric and a bag of embroidery thread - I pencilled little things on approx. 2"- 3" squares of plain muslin and then sat out on the deck and embroidered myself silly!! It was actually greaaaat fun and, and, and I eventually used these tiny, super-primitive embroideries on cards and in small quilts. Just a thought.

Hi fiber friends. I am having trouble getting started projects finished. Any suggestions? I do have my house listed for sale and have to keep it "model home" perfect, so that doesn't help. I am thinking though that I have several projects that wouldn't take too long to just do.

That's been my problem for ages. My husband is a really great guy but I still have to stop and make dinner even if I'm in the middle of something. It's not like a written rule, I just make myself feel guilty if I don't. He never says a word
Tonight I came home after working since 7 am teaching kids art all day with NO breaks (no even for lunch), I could barely move and still he wanted to know what was for dinner? I sad what ever you make is fine with me. After two hours and being very hungry I finally cooked something. YECHCHCHCH!
Wow, I really unloaded and didn't even get to the being interupted in the studio part.
Ok Charlotte, you can see that I'm on but I got to go veg now.

here is agood one to discuss
why dio women feel quilty at 'me time' and cannot enjoy it until all the chores are done ?????? whilst our darling men have no qualms what so ever on how to enjoy down time any time
